Lenswap Terms & Conditions

Lenswap is a service that replaces prescription lenses in your existing frames. You send us your frames, we reglaze them with new lenses, and ship them back to you.

We take great care with your frames, but we’re not liable for damage due to pre-existing wear or defects or damages which may occur during reglazing.

If frames are deemed unfit for reglazing (e.g. cracked, fragile), we’ll notify you before proceeding.

Frames may be looser or tighter after reglazing - this can usually be adjusted at your local optometrist.

You must provide a valid prescription from an optometrist or eye care professional.

We do not check the accuracy of your prescription — we cut lenses exactly to what you provide.

Custom lenses are made just for you — so they’re not refundable once we start production.

If we’ve made a mistake (e.g. wrong lenses, wrong prescription), we’ll fix it at no cost.

If your frames are lost or damaged during transit to us, we are not responsible.

Auspost may cover up to $100 for lost parcels under our free shipping service but for additional cover, we recommend purchasing insurance (up to $800) with Auspost Insurance at checkout.

We provide Free shipping label (within Australia) to and back from us for your convenience.

We are not liable for delays caused by couriers.

All lenses come with a 12-month warranty against coating defects or lens faults.

Accidental damage, scratches, or wear-and-tear are not covered.

We only use your personal information to process your order and communicate with you.

Your data is never sold to third parties.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we’ll post the changes on this page.
